He is an expert in management strategies of trademarks and patents portfolio, intellectual property, and R+D. He is founding partner of JARRY IP and responsible for the strategical management of the Office.
Allan has 25 years of experience in Intellectual Property, both in Chile (previously in the Law Firm “Harnecker” and «Carey”) and through Latam (as founder of “Integra IP”, now incorporated into JARRY IP as “LatAmRIGHT” in Miami), with a wealth of local knowledge, as well as high experience at regional level.
His profound experience is in the strategies design of IPM for clients for the proper management of their trademarks and patents portfolios, including other IP rights derived from R+D activities. Until July of 2009 he was Managing Partner of Harnecker, Tier 1 Law Firm in Chile, managing a portfolio of 37,000 registered trademarks and 6,000 patents for the main multinational corporations of R+D. He also has in-depth knowledge of licenses, since he founded and chaired the Licensing Executives Society of Chile. Companies Director, Angel Investor and Entrepreneur in multiple innovation areas.

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science with specialization in Genetics at Universidad de la Habana, Cuba.
She has more than 30 years of experience working in patent matters. Olga is an expert from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in patent drafting matters and cooperates with this organization in training courses for Latin America since 2008 until now, in the Biotechnology area.
She has co-authored of books and manuals regarding Industrial Property, such as “WIPO Strategic Patent Filing Exercise Book” (2012) and “Handbook of Best Practices for Management of Intellectual Property in Health Research and Development” (2003) and she has also participated in many international events related to patents and training courses for professionals in Industrial Property area, both in national and international level.
In her teaching experience it highlights her role as tutor of the distance learning program from WIPO (2008 until now); as associate professor of Diploma Course in Industrial Property of the Cuban Office of Industrial Property; as professor of the modules of Inventions, Utility Models, Innovation and Transfer of Technology of the master’s degree in Intellectual Property at Universidad de las Américas, Ecuador (2011, 2012) and the course “Patents and Legislation” of the Universidad de Chile (2016, 2017).

Legal and Litigation – Trademarks
Magdalena joined Jarry IP in 2015 as the Head of the legal and litigation department and became partner in 2018. Previously, she worked at Guerrero Olivos as part of the IP legal firm. She started her professional career at Baker & Mckenzie in the mergers and acquisitions area as well as intellectual property. Her practice includes the representation of local and foreign companies in trademarks, domain names, copyright, patents and personal data. She has broad experience in multiple industries, e.g., laboratories, retail and software; and has extended her practice to the integral advisory to entrepreneurs for protecting their intellectual property rights.
In the last years, Magdalena has been recognized by several publications, including “The Legal 500” “Leaders League”, as an expert in the field. Also, she has been nominated in the past years by Legal Media Group as “Best IP Rising Star in Latam”.
